As a kid growing up I was made to go to church every Sunday, come rain, or shine. No matter what, we went to church. But, something was missing. It wasn’t FUN. Every where else I went was fun, why wasn’t church fun? I was told that we were in God’s house and children were to be seen and not heard, so sit up and listen. Yeah, try telling that to a kid with A.D.D. (which by the way, I was). After over 30 years, my slogan has become “If a child has to cry about church, they should cry that they can’t come as opposed to that they have to come”.
Church should be the best time of a child’s life. A place where they can learn about God in an atmosphere they are familiar with. One that is FUN, exciting, friendly, safe and most of all, a place where God can be real to them.
JAM stands for (Jesus and Me). It’s a fun, family-friendly place for kids to learn about God’s plan for their lives. Jeremiah 29:11 “I know the plans I have for you, “announces the Lord. “I want you to enjoy success. I do not plan to harm you. I will give you hope for the years to come”.

Team Jam is made up of volunteers that have one purpose in mind: “to raise up a generation of righteous kids for the Kingdom of God”.
When people ask if they can help in Jam my first statement to them is, come check it out and sit in on the services a few weeks and see if this is really where you want to be. It wont take you long to figure out if this is your cup of tea or not.
I don’t need a warm body, what I need is your heart. If your heart is in it, everything else will come along with it. Every person working in Jam has been tried and tested. And this cord is not easily broken. We not only teach and preach the Word, we build relationships that last a life time.
